I have had to make the difficult decision to close the school. I had decided to try and keep the school open as it is only a yellow warning, however due to most establishments around us closing I have now lost key staff to be able to safely run the school. 

 

The information has also changed around the weather from 3-4pm. This is now predicted to be the highest point of winds. This leaves pick up potentially dangerous and I am not prepared to take this risk with pupil safety.

 

I am sorry for the inconvenience; we have followed guidance the whole way through and do not take this situation lightly.
