Wellbeing
At Shakespeare Junior School, we value the wellbeing and mental health of all our students.
As a school, we have adopted the 'Zones of Regulation' curriculum. This curriculum is designed to help all our pupils learn how to foster self-regulation and emotional control in all situations, both in and outside the classroom.
'Wellbeing' is now taught weekly, in blocks of 20/30 minute sessions. Each session offers all pupils the chance to listen, discuss and reflect on ways in which we can all become more emotionally confident and better equipped in utalising strategies to support our own and others' wellbeing.
