Steve Cox - Headteacher Governor

I have been working in education since 1994 and worked in a variety of settings during this time, initially as a newly qualified teacher, then taking on ICT and DT manager roles, before becoming maths manager. I have always loved maths and carried on with my maths role until I became HT here in 2012.

I was then Key Stage 2 leader in a primary school and then Assistant headteacher, before securing a deputy headship. I then took over the acting headteacher role whilst my head was asked to lead another school. When she returned, I enjoyed headship, so then joined Shakespeare in 2012.

I have a large family and now also have 3 grandchildren to keep me busy when not in school.
