Michelle Vaughan – Co-Chair of Governors

I joined the Governing Body initially as a parent governor and have had 2 children go through the school. Having a career which involves working with schools and governing bodies, becoming a governor at the school seemed an obvious way in which I could contribute.  In September this year I was reappointed to the role of Vice Chair and the schools Safeguarding link governor.

I am now a Local Authority Governor and have worked for Local Authority since 2008 in a variety of Human Resources and Project Management roles.  I have a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management, and I am a chartered member of the CIPD.  My current role within the LA is as the Schools Casework Manager, managing and leading a team that support schools with their Human Resources matters.
