Welcome To Shakespeare Junior School
At Shakespeare Junior School, everyone is committed to ensuring that all children are ready, respectful, and safe. We strive to help every child develop these qualities both in school and in life. Our aim is for all pupils to be actively engaged in their learning, confidently applying their skills and knowledge so they can make strong progress and achieve well as they move through school. This emphasises the importance of being ready to learn, treating others with respect and ensuring everyone feels safe – both physically and emotionally. This helps create a supportive and inclusive environment. It encourages our children to think about their behaviour and to take accountability in an age-appropriate way.

Our Vision and Values
We expect high standards of behaviour. The school behaviour policy details how, through positive reinforcement, we celebrate children making the right choices in a variety of ways and what we do when a child’s behaviour does not meet our expectations. We are here to support reflection through restorative practice to make more appropriate choices in the future. Working together, we believe children thrive at school and do homework in partnership.
