Day two and what a day! The most exciting thing today was the discovery of a baby deer on the earthquake course. Born last night and named Tulip, the parents had obviously left it in the long grass for safety right next to one of the stations. We were very lucky to be able to see this little one but had to be very quiet while attempting that station.
All children completed the earthquake assault today and some of the team work was quite exceptional. Lots of the children conquered their fears and attempted the rope swing and we only had a few wet feet in the end. The also did den building which they really enjoyed and I know the teachers enjoyed ‘testing’ how waterproof their dens were!
Pizza night tonight so lots of happy children. Fingers crossed for another good night and (hopefully) not such an early start tomorrow.
